Getting started with Aluum

Getting started with Aluum is easy, fast, and free.

Create your account

First, begin creating your account by navigating to our signup page. Then, create a new Aluum account by providing your:

• University.
• First name.
• Last name.
• Personal email address.
• Password of your choice.

We recommend choosing a password that is not an easy to guess word. Your password will need to:

• Be 8 to 12 characters in length.
• Use a mix of different cases (uppercase and lowercase).
• Contain digits.
• Contain at least 1 special character (e.g. _ ! &).

If you already have an Aluum account, sign in to access it.

Complete your profile

Once you’ve created your account, you’ll be prompted to upload your profile photo and enter a short tagline. Please note that these steps are optional but will help you make connections faster on our platform.

Invite your peers

Lastly, a community is only as good as the people in it – so don’t forget to refer your peers to join you on Aluum!
